Job summary

MetroHealth Parma Health Center seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for the Acute Care Adult Medical/Post-Surgical Unit (Parma Inpatient). Shift is 7a-7p/7p-7a with rotating weekends and holidays; bi-weekly hours total 72.

The unit serves Medical, Post-Surgical and Trauma Level 3 patients. You will perform IV insertions, blood draws, telemetry monitoring, and provide time management and delegation as part of a collaborative care team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing (or program seeking accreditation).
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio.
• Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• BSN is preferred.
• Professional Certification recognized by the Magnet Association is preferred.

Up to $10,000 sign on bonus for RNs with qualifying experience

Primary Patient Population:

• Medical
• Post-Surgical
• Trauma- Level 3 Trauma Center

Primary skills utilized/learned:

Personnel RN will work with:

• LPNs, Patient Care Nursing Assistants (PCNAs), Nurse Interns, Providers, PT/OT, Speech Therapy

Number of beds on unit:

• 15 beds plus 1 Trauma bed as needed
