MetroHealth Parma Health Center is seeking a registered nurse for our acute care adult medical/post-surgical unit. The role includes telemetry monitoring, IV access, and post-surgical care, with a rotating shift schedule (7a-7p / 7p-7a) and rotating weekends/holidays.

Qualified candidates must have Ohio RN licensure and BLS, with 1 year of RN experience for PRN. A BSN is preferred; MetroHealth offers tuition reimbursement and certification incentives along with comprehensive benefits.

Qualificações

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio.
• Current AHA Basic Life Support certification for healthcare providers or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• PRN requires 1 year of relevant RN experience.
• PRN must possess all required certifications upon hire.

Responsabilidades

• Provide care for acute medical/post-surgical patients with telemetry monitoring.
• Perform IV insertions and blood draws; assist with post-surgical care.
• Monitor patient status, respond to changes, and delegate tasks as needed.
• Collaborate with LPNs, PCNAs, Nurse Interns, Providers, PT/OT, Speech Therapy.
• Demonstrate time management and critical thinking in a fast-paced unit.

Personnel RN will work with:

Number of beds on unit:

• 15 beds plus 1 Trauma bed as needed
