MetroHealth is hiring a registered nurse for the Acute Care Adult Medical/Post-Surgical Unit at Parma Inpatient. Responsibilities include IV insertions, blood draws, telemetry monitoring, and post-surgical care, with collaboration across RNs, LPNs, PCNAs, and therapists.

Shifts rotate 7a-7p and 7p-7a with weekend and holiday rotation. Bi-weekly hours are 72. A sign-on bonus up to $10,000 is available for qualifying experience.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing or in an accredited program seeking accreditation.
• Current RN licensure in the State of Ohio
• Current AHA Basic Life Support for healthcare provider or obtained within 90 days of hire
• PRN requires 1 year of RN experience
• PRN must possess all required certifications at hire

Aufgaben

• Provide acute care nursing in Medical/Post-Surgical Unit (Parma Inpatient).
• Perform IV insertions, blood draws, and post-surgical care.
• Telemetry monitoring and patient risk assessments.
• Collaborate with LPNs, PCNAs, providers, PT/OT, and speech therapy.
• Manage time effectively across a 15-bed unit plus trauma bed as needed.

Personnel RN will work with:

• LPNs, Patient Care Nursing Assistants (PCNAs), Nurse Interns, Providers, PT/OT, Speech Therapy

Number of beds on unit:

• 15 beds plus 1 Trauma bed as needed

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing (or a program seeking accreditation).


• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio

• PRN must possess all required certifications upon hire
