Job summary

MetroHealth Parma Health Center is seeking an RN to join the Acute Care Adult Medical/Post-Surgical Unit (Parma Inpatient). The role features 7a-7p and 7p-7a shifts with rotating weekends and holidays; bi-weekly total hours are 72.

A sign-on bonus up to $10,000 is available for qualifying RN experience. Responsibilities include IV insertions, blood draws, telemetry monitoring, and post-surgical patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio.
• Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• PRN requires 1 year of relevant RN experience.
• PRN must possess all required certifications upon hire.

Bi-weekly Hours: 72.00

Primary Patient Population:

• Medical

• Trauma- Level 3 Trauma Center

Primary skills utilized/learned:

• IV insertions, blood draws, post-surgical care

Personnel RN will work with:

• LPNs, Patient Care Nursing Assistants (PCNAs), Nurse Interns, Providers, PT/OT, Speech Therapy

Number of beds on unit:

• 15 beds plus 1 Trauma bed as needed
