Job summary

Ascension is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct NICU care across Ascension acute care hospitals. This travel nursing role offers local and national travel options, a 36-hour weekly schedule, and an environment focused on multidisciplinary collaboration and patient discharge planning.

Minimum requirements include RN licensure, BLS, and NICU experience or strong preference for STABLE and Neonatal Resuscitation certifications.

• BLS Provider within 1 month of hire date or job transfer date required.
• Registered Nurse licensure prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Certification specializing in The S.T.A.B.L.E Program preferred.
• Certification specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation preferred.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Certification specializing in The S.T.A.B.L.E Program preferred.
• Certification specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation credentialed from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) preferred.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.

• 1+ year of recent experience in NICU.
