Job summary

Ascension St. Vincent's Indianapolis Hospital in Indianapolis, IN is seeking an RN for ICU Neuro Trauma assignments with night shifts. You will implement and monitor care plans, coordinate multi-disciplinary care, and ensure timely discharge planning in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Requirements include a nursing diploma, 1 year of RN acute care experience, and a valid RN license (compact or state-specific). This position is full-time at Ascension Premier Staffing - ICU Neuro Trauma.

Qualifications

• One year of RN experience in an acute care setting.
• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required.
• Registered Nurse license (compact or state) required prior to start.

• Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
• Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with the healthcare team.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Must have compact RN license or state RN license relevant to travel assignment location prior to start of assignment.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required.

Work Experience

• One year of RN experience in an acute care setting required.
