Job summary

Ascension Health in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Medical Surgical ICU on the night shift. You will implement and monitor patient care plans, coordinate multidisciplinary care, and ensure orders are carried out to support optimal patient outcomes.

The role requires Wisconsin RN licensure, ACLS within 180 days, BLS within 30 days, and ongoing professional development with comprehensive benefits and tuition support.

Qualifications

• Advanced Life Support required within 180 days of hire or transfer, ACLS acceptable.
• BLS Provider required within 30 days of hire or transfer.
• RN credentialed by the Wisconsin Board of Nursing prior to hire date, or multi-state license.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Licensure from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing OR current home state license if considered multi-state/Compact State.

Education:

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
