Job summary

St. Luke’s Health System in Nampa, ID, is seeking an experienced registered nurse for our fast-paced med/surg unit. The unit offers 24 beds with RN-to-patient ratios around 1:5 and options for day or night shifts.

Eligible new hires may receive sign-on and relocation bonuses, plus additional PTO for night shifts and certification incentive pay. We provide ongoing education scholarships, support from a Unit Based Educator, and a culture focused on camaraderie, growth, and comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• Education: Associate's or Bachelor's Nursing Degree.
• Experience: 1+ years of RN experience.
• Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure and BLS certification.

• Provide patient-centered nursing care on a fast-paced med/surg unit.
• Collaborate with Unit Based Educator during orientation and continuing education.
• Support a team-focused environment and maintain patient safety and quality of care.

Unit Overview

Nampa med/surg unit is a fast-paced 24 bed Surgical unit that is an ideal place to build strong clinical skills while caring for an increasingly diverse patient population. Typical RN to patient ratios on this unit are 1:5, with reduced ratios of 1:4 for acuity when necessary. For CNAs, the ratios are typically 1:8-10.

• Full Time or Part Time or days (7:00a-7:30p) or nights (7:00p-7:30a)

• Sign-on/relocation bonus for eligible new hires

• Certification incentive pay for specialty certifications (ex. CMSRN, ONC)
