Job summary

St. Luke’s Meridian Medical Center in Meridian, Idaho, is seeking an experienced registered nurse to join our Medical/Surgical team.

This Magnet-designated facility offers dynamic 42-bed units, and a commitment to patient-centered care, teamwork, and professional growth. We provide day and night shifts, generous shift differentials, sign-on/relocation bonuses, certification pay, and opportunities for charge nurse and preceptor roles.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's Nursing Degree is required.
• Active RN license in the state of practice and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide care on Medical/Surgical units with a 1:5 RN-to-patient ratio.
• Deliver patient-centered nursing care across varied medical and post-surgical conditions.
• Support charge nurse and preceptor roles to foster staff development.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality care.

About Our Medical/Surgical Units

• Units 5 & 6 are dynamic 42-bed units where you'll have the chance to enhance your clinical skills while caring for a diverse patient population to include various medical conditions and post-surgical needs.
• Typical RN-to-patient ratio: 1:5
• Typical CNA-to-patient ratio: 1:8

• Full Time or Part Time days or nights (7:00a-7:30p/7:00p-7:30a) with night/weekend differential pay
• Additional PTO hours for night shift
• Sign-on/Relocation bonus for eligible new hires
• Certification pay for national certifications (e.g., CMSRN, ONC)

Qualifications

• Education: Associate's or Bachelor's Nursing Degree
• Experience: 1+ years of RN experience
• Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure from the State of Practice and Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Heart Association or American Red Cross
