Job summary

Ascension in Kyle, Texas is hiring a Full Time RN for the Cardiac Cath Labs. You’ll provide direct patient care, participate in unit processes, and support regulatory standards with on-call duties as needed.

You’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, help develop and implement procedures, and mentor staff while maintaining budgets and quality care.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider within 30 days of hire.
• RN license issued by the Texas Board of Nursing prior to hire.
• 3 years of experience with 1 year of leadership experience required.

Responsibilities

• Identify and resolve issues affecting patient care in the unit.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient health services delivery.
• Ensure departmental regulatory and accreditation compliance.
• Monitor budgets and approve expenditures to ensure budget adherence.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Identify and resolve issues affecting the delivery of patient care services in a unit. Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective delivery of health services in a unit.
• Ensure departmental compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements.
• Monitor and adhere to budgets. Approves or monitors expenditures, purchases and other actions to ensure compliance with budget guidelines.
• Conduct hiring, training, directing, development and evaluation of staff.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education

• Required professional licensure/certification AND 3 years of experience and 1 year of cumulative leadership experience required.
