Ascension in Austin, TX seeks an experienced Registered Nurse specialized in Cardiac Devices to join our full-time team. You will lead nursing standards, design individualized recovery plans, and ensure therapy delivery with proper equipment and documentation.

Requirements include Texas RN license and BLS within 30 days. This role supports clinical excellence and staff mentorship in a dynamic cardiovascular department.

Qualifications

• BLS within 30 days of hire date. American Heart Association or Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse licensed in Texas required.
• Diploma from an accredited nursing program or professional licensure at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Lead clinical excellence as the primary resource for nursing standards and patient care.
• Create individualized care plans providing a clear road-map for recovery and therapy.
• Oversee therapy program delivery and ensure necessary equipment and resources are available.
• Mentor the nursing team through active supervision to maintain high clinical standards.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing required.

Education:

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR professional licensure at time of hire required.

What additional preferences we're seeking

• Internal Cardiac Device experience required
• 1 year Electro-physiology or Cardiology experience
