Ascension Providence in Waco, TX is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to lead the Renal unit on a full-time day shift. The role emphasizes regulatory compliance, staff development, and delivering high-quality patient care.

You will manage budgets, policies, and staffing, while addressing systemic barriers to care. A Texas RN license and BLS certification are required; leadership experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• BLS Certification required within 30 days of hire (American Heart Association or Red Cross accepted).
• Licensed Clinical Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing required.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Regulatory Excellence: Ensure absolute compliance with all health-care accreditation, regulatory, and safety requirements across the unit.
• Talent Life-cycle Management: Lead the recruitment, training, professional development, and performance evaluation of departmental staff.
• Clinical Problem-Solving: Pro-actively identify and resolve systemic barriers to optimize the delivery of high-quality patient care.
• Policy Architecture: Design and implement clinical policies and procedures that maximize efficiency and care effectiveness.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Licensed Clinical Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing required.

Education

• Required professional licensure/certification AND 3 years of experience AND 1 year of cumulative

Leadership Experience Required.

• Management experience preferred
