Cedar Park Regional Medical Center in the Austin, TX metro area is seeking a Labor and Delivery Nurse Staffing. The role features rotating PRN schedules across various locations in the Austin area.

You will deliver direct patient care across diverse units, monitor and adjust care plans, and coordinate patient journeys as the central link within the healthcare team. Precise documentation ensures a seamless care process for every patient.

Formación

• Required credentials include BLS, ACLS, RN licensure, PALS, and fetal monitoring certification.
• Preferred credentials include NRP certification.
• Education requires a nursing diploma or equivalent licensure at time of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver high-quality direct patient care across diverse units per organizational protocols.
• Implement and monitor care plans, ensuring timely execution of orders.
• Coordinate patient care by serving as the central communication link among disciplines.
• Record patient conditions and interventions clearly to maintain a coordinated care plan.

Your future role at a glance

• Location: Will float across various locations in the Austin, TX Metro area

• Department: Labor and Delivery Nurse Staffing

• Schedule: Rotating l PRN

• Pay: $64 per hour

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate direct patient care across diverse specialty units in adherence to all established organizational protocols.
• Implement and continuously monitor patient care plans, ensuring the accurate and timely execution of physician and nursing orders.
• Coordinate all aspects of a patient's journey by serving as the central link for communication and assessment among all disciplines within the healthcare team.
• Communicate and meticulously record all patient conditions, observations, and interventions to ensure a seamless, well-coordinated care plan.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):
  • Certified BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Certified Advanced Life Support . American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Certified Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Certified Pediatric Advanced Life Support . American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • AWHONN Electronic Fetal Monitoring Certification.
• Preferred Credential(s):
  • NRP Certification. American Heart Association or American Academy of Pediatrics accepted.

Education:

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required. OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.

Preferred Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years experience required in Labor and Delivery
