Ascension Saint Alexius in Hoffman Estates, IL, is seeking a dedicated RN for Labor & Delivery with a Day shift, full-time schedule. You will care for high-risk laboring patients, execute care plans, and coordinate with the care team to ensure smooth deliveries and discharge planning.

The role requires an Illinois RN license, BLS certification, and ideally 1 year in acute care. Ascension offers a sign-on bonus up to $10,000 and a comprehensive benefits package to support your professional growth.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Provide direct nursing care to high-risk labor and delivery patients following established protocols and guidelines.
• Implement and monitor individualized care plans for laboring patients, recording and communicating any changes in condition.
• Serve as the primary coordinator for all healthcare disciplines involved in high-risk deliveries.
• Execute physician and nursing orders and coordinate with the healthcare team for discharge planning and follow-up care.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Illinois Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire required.
