How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Guide patients and their families through each phase of their surgical journey, delivering attentive pre- and post-operative care while closely monitoring vital signs, managing recovery symptoms, and keeping everyone informed and at ease.
• Serve as the vital link between surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the surgical team to maintain a smooth, collaborative flow throughout the day and ensure every patient receives prompt, individualized attention.
• Execute clinical orders and medication administration with meticulous attention to safety, infection prevention, and ambulatory surgery protocols.
• Prepare patients and their caregivers for a safe, confident recovery at home by delivering clear, compassionate discharge instructions and confirming all outpatient follow-up care is seamless.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):
• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

• Preferred Credential(s):
• Approved Local Exception. Approved Local Exception for TN to add NRP and STABLE. or For use with unique Union job requirements only. Remove if not for Union.
• Drivers License.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required. OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
