Job summary

Ascension's Cedar Park Medical Center in Cedar Park, Texas, is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for Labor and Delivery to implement and monitor patient care plans during the day shift. You will coordinate care across disciplines, document patient conditions, and execute physician and nursing orders, while planning discharge needs with the healthcare team.

Minimum requirements include Texas RN licensure, BLS, and STABLE/Neonatal Resuscitation certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider within 1 month (30 days) of hire or transfer date; acceptable from AHA or Red Cross.
• RN credentialed from Texas Board of Nursing prior to hire date or transfer date.
• S.T.A.B.L.E. Program certification preferred.
• Neonatal Resuscitation certification preferred (AAP).

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Certification specializing in The S.T.A.B.L.E Program preferred.
• Certification specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation credentialed from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) preferred.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR professional licensure at time of hire required.
