Responsibilities
  • Execute Strategic Vision: Lead the deployment of the Ascension Strategic Plan across your market, transforming high-level organizational goals into localized clinical success and improved patient outcomes.
  • Drive Operational Excellence: Translate national professional development standards into actionable local plans, using data-driven insights to ensure your nursing and clinical teams are performing at the top of their licenses.
  • Champion Change & Growth: Direct market-specific initiatives that foster a culture of accountability and transition readiness, ensuring clinical associates are supported and prepared for the future of healthcare.
  • Cultivate Executive Partnerships: Build influential relationships with Chief Nursing Officers and hospital leadership to align professional development goals with the unique operational needs of each facility.
  • Ensure Resource Stewardship: Oversee market-level budgets and clinical professional development resources to maximize the impact of every dollar spent on associate growth and retention.
Requirements

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Professional Registered Nurse credentialed from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) obtained within 18 months (1 1/2 year) of hire date or job transfer date required.
Education
  • Master's degree with 3 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management.
