Job summary

Ascension Providence in Waco, TX, is seeking dedicated nurses for a Float Pool role. Schedule: Days, Full-time, with sign-on bonus up to $10,000. You will deliver skilled nursing care across multiple units, coordinate care with specialists, and ensure timely execution of orders to support patient recovery.

Qualified candidates hold a nursing diploma, Texas RN licensure, and ideally ACLS/PALS. CCU experience is preferred, with comprehensive benefits and professional development opportunities

Qualifications

• BLS Provider within 1 month of hire date (AHA or Red Cross accepted).
• Registered Nurse credentialed by Texas Board of Nursing prior to hire.
• Advanced Life Support preferred.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred.
• Diploma from an accredited nursing program or equivalent licensure at time of hire.
• 1+ year of Critical Care RN experience.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
• 1+ year of Critical Care Registered Nursing experience.
