HCA Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse for Inpatient Pediatrics at Overland Park Regional Medical Center. You will provide patient care for birth through 17 years, work nights (7p–7a) with rotating weekends, and grow skills toward NICU in a collaborative environment.

Must be BSN and licensed, with BLS on hire; PALS/ACLS/ENPC within 6 months and TNCC within 12 months. A strong background in pediatric care is preferred.

• Currently licensed as a registered nurse in state(s) of practice and/or active compact license.
• BLS on hire.
• PALS, ACLS, ENPC certifications within 6 months of hire.
• TNCC certification within 12 months of hire.
• 1 year (minimum) experience required.
• Previous clinical experience in area of specialty preferred.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Under the general direction of the Director, coordinates and provides patient care and assumes individual responsibility and accountability for the provision of nursing care. Nursing care is provided in accordance with hospital policies and procedures, applicable state Nursing Practice Acts, ANA Standards of Practice, and the generic and unit structure standards. Pediatric patients between birth through 17 years of age.Schedule: Full-time Nights (7p-7a) plus rotating weekends.Unit: close-knit, collaborative environment; skill growth opportunities leading into NICU; supportive leadership.

What Qualifications You Will Need:

• Graduate of school of nursing required.
• BSN required.
• Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license, in accordance with law and regulation.
• BLS (American Heart Association) on hire
• PALS, ACLS, and ENPC certifications within 6 months of hire
• TNCC certification within 12 months of hire1 year (minimum) experience required.
• Previous clinical experience in area of specialty preferred.
