Job summary

Ascension St. Vincent in Evansville, IN, is hiring a full-time ICU Stepdown RN for day shifts (7am-7pm). You will lead patient care plans, coordinate a multidisciplinary team, monitor patients and communicate changes, and support safe discharges.

Minimum requirements include Indiana RN license, BLS within 30 days, and a nursing diploma. A sign-on bonus up to $10,000 is offered and retirement benefits, PTO, tuition assistance are available.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.

Additional Preferences

• Prefer at least 1-2 yrs previous ICU stepdown experience in a high acuity setting
