Job summary

Ascension is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the ICU in Destin, FL. You’ll implement and monitor patient care plans, coordinate multidisciplinary care, and ensure orders are carried out while supporting discharge planning. This full-time day-shift role requires Florida RN licensure and BLS; ALS is preferred. You’ll collaborate with physicians, nurses, and support staff to deliver compassionate, evidence-based care in a dynamic hospital setting.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider credential within 30 days of hire; valid through American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Florida RN license prior to hire; multi-state license recognition (Compact State) prior to hire.
• Advanced Life Support is preferred.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

• Required Credential(s): BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.


• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Florida. Credentialed from State Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition \"Compact State\" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

• Preferred Credential(s): Advanced Life Support. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required. OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
