Job summary

Ascension in Destin, FL seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Rapid Response Team for night shifts. You will implement and monitor patient care plans, coordinate multi-disciplinary care, and ensure timely execution of physician orders.

You will assess discharge needs, document patient progress, and collaborate with physicians and bedside staff in a fast-paced hospital environment. A Florida RN license and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Requires Florida RN license and BLS certification within 30 days.
• A diploma from an accredited nursing program or equivalent licensure.

Responsibilities

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Implements and monitors patient care plans. Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
• Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.
• Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):
• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Florida. Credentialed from State Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required. OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
