Ascension Sacred Heart Emerald Coast in Destin, FL is hiring a Day shift, full-time ICU Registered Nurse to join the ICU team. You will implement and monitor patient care plans and coordinate care across disciplines.

Requirements include Florida RN license, BLS within 30 days of hire, and a Nursing Diploma. ACLS preferred. Benefits include health coverage, retirement plan with 403(b), PTO, tuition reimbursement, and EAP.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.
• Assesses and coordinates patient’s discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):
• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Florida. Credentialed from State Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

• Preferred Credential(s):
• Advanced Life Support. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required. OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
