Job summary

Ascension is seeking an ICU RN for Baltimore, MD, to provide day-shift, full-time care at Ascension Saint Agnes Hospital. You will lead compassionate, evidence-based nursing, coordinate a multidisciplinary team, monitor patients in real time, and drive safe discharge planning for transitions home.

Required are a Maryland RN license and BLS; ACLS is preferred. The role offers a sign-on bonus up to $15,000 and comprehensive benefits to support professional growth and patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider required within 30 days of hire.
• Maryland RN license required before hire date.
• ACLS/Advanced Life Support preferred.

• Advocate for the patient's journey by initiating and managing comprehensive discharge plans, ensuring a safe and successful transition from hospital to home.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Maryland Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job
• transfer date required.
• Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.

Additional Preferences

• Minimum 1 year acute care RN experience required.
