Job summary

Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford in Murfreesboro, TN is hiring an experienced Registered Nurse to deliver compassionate direct nursing care and follow established clinical protocols. The role coordinates care across medical disciplines and manages the patient journey including discharge planning to ensure safe transitions.

The position offers a sign-on bonus and a full-time schedule. A nursing diploma and Tennessee RN licensure are required, with BLS and instructor certifications preferred

â Deliver compassionate direct nursing care by following established clinical protocols to ensure every patient receives safe, high-quality treatment tailored to their unique needs.

â Lead the coordination of care across multiple medical disciplines, serving as the central point of contact to ensure a seamless and well-organized experience for the patient.

â Manage the full patient journey by implementing care plans and proactively coordinating discharge needs with the healthcare team to ensure a safe transition to the next stage of recover.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Required Credential(s):
• Licensed Compact State Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• One or more of the following:
• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Instructor specializing in Basic Life Support obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required. OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
