Ascension in Murfreesboro, TN is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cardiovascular Surgery unit to provide direct patient care in a high-acuity environment. You will collaborate with surgeons, nurses and the care team to implement care plans and monitor progress.

The role emphasizes accurate order execution, discharge planning, and real-time communication to ensure safe, productive patient care. Requires TN RN license and BLS within 30 days.

Qualifications

• RN license from Tennessee Board required.
• BLS Provider certification within 30 days of hire.
• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing.
• Cardiac care experience preferred.

• Precision Execution: With a keen eye for detail, you'll interpret and carry out physician and nursing orders, ensuring clinical accuracy at every turn.
• Bridge to Home: You'll lead the discharge planning process from day one, collaborating across the care team to ensure your patients have everything they need for a safe and confident transition home.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
