Job summary

Overland Park Regional Medical Center in Kansas seeks a Super Float Pool RN for a part-time night shift (two 12-hour shifts with rotating weekends). You will provide patient care under the Nurse Manager/Director to support acutely ill patients per the Float Pool agreement.

A $10,000 sign-on bonus is offered for eligible experienced RNs. Required ADN/BSN, active RN license, BLS; ACLS within 2 months, TNCC and PALS within 6 months; minimum 5 years CCU/ER/PACU experience. Benefits included.

  • Current license as RN in state of practice and/or active compact license.
  • BLS required upon hire; ACLS within 2 months; TNCC and PALS within 6 months.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The role of the Super Float Pool Registered Nurse is to perform patient care under the direction of the Nurse Manager/Director of the department to which the RN is assigned for his or her shift.The Super Float Registered Nurse provides therapeutic and administrative services necessary for the care of the patient, and in support of the mission of Overland Park Regional Medical Center.The Registered Nurse in the Super Float Pool position provides care for acutely ill patient in units as determined by the Float Pool agreement.

SCHEDULE: Part-time Nights (2 12-hr shifts plus rotating weekends).

What qualifications you will need:
  • Graduate from accredited school of nursing with either an AND or BSN degree.
  • Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license, in accordance with law and regulation.
  • BLS required upon hire.
  • ACLS required within 2 months of hire.
  • TNCC and PALS required within 6 months of hire.
  • Minimum 5 years critical care experience in the areas of ICU, ER, and/or PACU.
