Job summary

Overland Park Regional Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse Float Pool Critical Care to provide vital patient care and support within the hospital. This full-time position requires a collaborative approach, with responsibilities in therapeutic services and administrative support. Candidates must have an ADN or BSN, a current nursing license, and minimum 5 years of critical care experience. The role demands flexibility with a schedule of full-time nights covering 3 12-hour shifts and rotating weekends. Comprehensive benefits are also offered.

Qualifications

  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with either an ADN or BSN degree.
  • Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice.
  • Minimum 5 years critical care experience in the areas of ICU, ER, and/or PACU.

Responsibilities

  • Perform patient care under the direction of the Nurse Manager/Director.
  • Provide therapeutic and administrative services for patient care.
  • Care for acutely ill patients in units as determined by the Float Pool agreement.
  • Work full-time nights (3 12-hour shifts plus rotating weekends).

Job Summary

Responsibilities
  • The role of the Super Float Pool Registered Nurse is to perform patient care under the direction of the Nurse Manager/Director of the department to which the RN is assigned for his or her shift.
  • The Super Float Registered Nurse provides therapeutic and administrative services necessary for the care of the patient, and in support of the mission of Overland Park Regional Medical Center.
  • The Registered Nurse in the Super Float Pool position provides care for acutely ill patients in units as determined by the Float Pool agreement.
  • SCHEDULE: Full-time Nights (3 12-hr shifts plus rotating weekends).
Qualifications
  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with either an ADN or BSN degree.
  • Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license, in accordance with law and regulation.
  • BLS required upon hire. ACLS required within 2 months of hire. TNCC and PALS required within 6 months of hire.
  • Minimum 5 years critical care experience in the areas of ICU, ER, and/or PACU.
