Job summary

Overland Park Regional Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Women’s Float Pool to deliver high-quality, efficient care across maternal, neonatal, and pediatric services. You will work under the Nurse Manager, contributing to patient safety and outcomes in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.

The role requires acute care experience in Mother Baby, L&D/Antepartum, and Women’s Surgery, with certifications in BLS, NRP, ACLS, and PALS as applicable.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license.
• BLS required upon hire; NRP certification required within 1 month of hire; ACLS and AWHONN Fetal monitoring required for LD/AP; PALs required for Pediatrics.
• 2 years acute care experience in Mother Baby, Labor & Delivery / Antepartum, and Women’s Surgery.

Responsibilities

• The Registered Nurse performs patient care under the direction of the Nurse Manager and provides therapeutic and administrative services for patient care in support of the hospital's mission.

We are seeking a(an) Registered Nurse Womens Float Pool for our team to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. The role of the Registered Nurse is to perform patient care under the direction of the Nurse Manager. The Registered Nurse provides therapeutic and administrative services necessary for the care of the patient, and in support of the mission of Overland Park Regional Medical Center.

Exposure to multiple specialties (maternal, neonatal and pediatrics) which includes managing high-risk pregnancies, neonatal care, pediatric support, postpartum recovery and surgical procedures.

What qualifications you will need:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
