Job summary

Ascension is hiring a Registered Nurse for St. Vincent Anderson Hospital, Med Surg Progressive Care in Anderson, IN. The role is PRN with night shifts from 6 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. You will implement and monitor patient care plans and coordinate care across disciplines.

Minimum requirements include a BLS within 30 days and Indiana RN licensure or NLC prior to hire; a nursing diploma from an accredited program is required. Two years RN experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider within 1 Month (30 days) of hire.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from Indiana Board of Nursing or NLC prior to hire.
• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing or required professional licensure at time of hire.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Serve as a coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.

• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.

• Assess and coordinate patient's care needs with members of the healthcare team.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Or Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR required professional licensure at time of hire.

Additional Preferences:

• At least two years of current RN specific experience is highly preferred.
