Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in the state of employment.
• BLS required before patient contact.
• ACLS required within 6 months for step-down and ICU areas.
• Unit-specific certifications may be required.
• Commitment to continuous learning and accurate EMR documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ physical, emotional, spiritual, and educational needs with the care team.
• Develop personalized care plans prioritizing patient needs and goals.
• Deliver evidence-based patient care and educate patients and families.
• Evaluate outcomes and adjust care based on data and best practices.
• Drive performance improvement initiatives with the Clinical Manager.
• Promote High Reliability to improve patient care and efficiency.
• Lead, mentor, and delegate duties while managing patient care.
• Document the nursing process, plan of care, and patient responses in the EMR.
• Maintain compliance with organizational policies and training requirements.
