Ideal candidates hold RN licensure in Ohio, BLS, ACLS within 6 months for critical areas, and demonstrate commitment to EMR documentation and continuous learning through education and mentorship programs.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in the state of employment.
• BLS required before patient contact.
• ACLS required within 6 months for step-down and ICU areas.
• Unit-specific certifications may be required.
• Commitment to continuous learning and accurate EMR documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients: evaluate physical, emotional, spiritual, and educational needs with the healthcare team.
• Develop care plans with patients and families.
• Deliver patient care and educate patients and families per hospital policies.
• Evaluate outcomes and adjust care based on evidence.
• Drive improvement with the Clinical Manager for better patient outcomes.
• Promote High Reliability in care and operations.
• Lead and mentor peers while managing patient care.
• Document the nursing process and patient responses in the EMR.
• Maintain compliance with policies and training requirements.
