Job summary

Ascension Health at St. Vincent Fishers Hospital in Fishers, IN seeks an experienced RN for the Emergency Department on a night shift part-time basis.

You will coordinate multidisciplinary care, monitor patient conditions, and ensure orders from physicians and nurses are carried out while facilitating safe discharge planning. The role requires an Indiana RN license, BLS, ACLS and PALS within specified timelines, and a nursing diploma or higher.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider obtained within 30 days of hire or transfer date.
• Registered Nurse credential from the Indiana Board of Nursing prior to hire date.
• Advanced Life Support obtained within 180 days of hire date.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support obtained prior to hire date.

Responsibilities

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

• One or more of the following:

• Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

• Pediatric Advanced Life Support obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required. OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
