Job summary

Ascension is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department in Brazil, IN, working nights on a full-time schedule. The role focuses on coordinating care, implementing orders, and ensuring effective discharge planning in a fast-paced hospital environment.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to monitor patient conditions, update plans, and support optimal outcomes for diverse patient populations.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider certification (within 30 days of hire)
• ACLS certification within 6 months of hire
• PALS certification within 6 months of hire
• Indiana RN license held before/at hire

Responsibilities

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

- Required Credential(s): BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

- One or more of the following: Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

- Pediatric Advanced Life Support obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education

- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required. OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
