Job summary

Ascension is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Electrophysiology Lab in Nashville, TN. The role is day shift, full-time, located at Ascension Saint Thomas Midtown. You will execute nursing interventions, develop care plans, and coordinate across disciplines to ensure high-quality patient care.

The position requires TN RN licensure or compact state recognition, BLS within 30 days, and a nursing diploma. Cardiac experience is preferred and comprehensive benefits are offered.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Execute nursing interventions and carry out physician orders in strict compliance with organizational standards and clinical protocols.
• Develop, implement, and track individualized patient care plans while documenting and reporting status changes in real time.
• Serve as the primary point of contact across all healthcare disciplines to ensure cohesive, well-integrated patient care.
• Evaluate post-care needs and collaborate with the healthcare team to facilitate smooth patient transitions and discharge continuity.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing OR current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire
