Job summary

Ascension Saint Thomas West in Nashville, TN, is seeking a Night Shift Full-Time Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Decision Unit. The role focuses on direct patient care, care coordination and discharge planning within a multidisciplinary team. A sign-on bonus is available.

The position requires a nursing diploma, an RN license in Tennessee or a compact state, and a BLS certification within 30 days of hire. Prior experience in cardiac care is beneficial.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider within 1 month of hire; American Heart Association or Red Cross accepted.
• RN license from Tennessee Board of Nursing or compact state recognition prior to hire.
• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing or equivalent licensure at time of hire.

• Implement and monitor patient care plans; monitor, record and communicate patient condition.
• Serve as primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.


• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition \"Compact State\" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
