Job summary

Ascension is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team in Tennessee. The role focuses on developing and implementing patient care plans, monitoring patients, and ensuring precise execution of orders.

You will collaborate with the care team to coordinate discharge planning from day one, ensuring safe and confident transitions home. Minimum qualifications include BLS within 30 days and RN licensure (TN or compact state).

Qualifications

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing OR current home state license for multi-state license recognition (Compact State) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

• Advocate & Strategist: you will bring patient care plans to life—implementing, monitoring, and evolving them to meet the unique needs of those in your care.
• Vigilant Communicator: you will be the expert voice for your patients, monitoring conditions and communicating vital updates to the team in real-time.
• Precision Execution: with a keen eye for detail, you’ll interpret and carry out physician and nursing orders, ensuring clinical accuracy at every turn.
• Bridge to Home: you’ll lead the discharge planning process from day one, collaborating across the care team to ensure patients have everything they need for a safe transition home.

What minimum qualifications you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:
