Ascension Saint Thomas Highlands in Sparta, TN, seeks an experienced ED RN to join our night shift.

This role focuses on coordinating patient care across disciplines, implementing care plans, and executing physician and nursing orders in a fast-paced emergency department.

Formación

• Advanced Life Support within 6 months of hire or transfer date.
• BLS Provider within 1 month of hire or transfer date.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 6 months of hire or transfer date.
• Licensed Compact State RN credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing before hire or transfer date.

• Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

Required Credential(s)

• Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Licensed Compact State Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required. OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
