Job summary

Ascension Saint Thomas Highlands in Sparta, TN is seeking a Day shift, full-time Registered Nurse to join the Med Surg team. You will implement and monitor patient care plans, coordinate discharge planning and collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient care.

Minimum requirements include BLS certification and RN licensure from the Tennessee Board, with a diploma from an accredited nursing program.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
