Job summary

Ascension Saint Thomas West in Nashville, TN seeks an RN for the Cardiac Decision Unit. You will provide direct nursing care, implement and monitor care plans, and serve as the primary coordinator across disciplines during night shift PRN.

The role requires TN RN licensure or multi-state compact eligibility, and a Diploma in Nursing with BLS within 1 month of hire. Benefits include a 403(b) plan and well-being resources. This position supports Ascension's mission in a Catholic health system.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider required within 1 month of hire.
• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing or multi-state Compact State recognition.
• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing or equivalent licensure at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care per policies, procedures and protocols.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans; document and communicate patient condition.
• Coordinate care across disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Document and carry out physician and nursing orders.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
