Clinical Leadership: Coordinate unit staffing and lead specialized nursing areas to ensure high-quality patient care and clinical objectives are met.
Shift & Resource Management: Direct, educate, and assign duties to nursing and support staff while securing necessary materials, resources, and supplies.
Patient Care Planning: Assess daily patient needs to create appropriate care assignments, optimize productivity, and adjust to shifting patient and physician dynamics.
Issue Resolution: Exercise independent judgment to resolve patient care complaints through established organizational channels.
Staff Development: Provide valuable input regarding the hiring, training, development, and performance evaluation of unit staff.
BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date reqired. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
