Job summary

Ascension is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Center for Advanced Medicine in Evansville, IN, in the Cardiology department. This full-time, days-shift role offers a Monday-Friday schedule in a clinical setting.

You will implement and monitor patient care plans, coordinate across disciplines, and support discharge planning, with a focus on compassionate, high-quality care and teamwork with the healthcare team.

Qualifications

• Active Indiana RN license required.
• BLS Provider certification required within 30 days of hire.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire required.
