Job summary

Ascension Milwaukee is seeking an experienced RN for the Emergency Department, scheduled PRN with day shifts. The role focuses on rapid triage, complex care planning, and ongoing patient monitoring to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Advocate for patient safety by maintaining precise care records and communicating real-time condition changes to the medical team for rapid adjustment of treatment.
• Drive multidisciplinary excellence by collaborating seamlessly with physicians and specialists to deliver a unified, high-quality experience for patients and their families.

Licensure/Certification/Registration

• BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education

• Graduate of a board-approved Registered Nurse Program required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Work Experience

• RN with 18 months or more experience required.
