We are recognized as an award-winning company, offering services such as Civil, Environmental, Structural, and Marine Engineering; Land Surveying; Land Planning; Landscape Architecture; Geographic Information Systems; and Construction Administration.

We are seeking a motivated Registered Land Surveyor in Nashville, TN. A Tennessee Registered Land Surveyor (PLS) license is required.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing and coordinating land surface surveys and investigations, preparing Topographic Maps, Boundary Adjustments, Subdivision Maps, Records of Survey, and Legal Descriptions.
• Ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations, boundary calculations, and legal ownership issues.
• Completing projects on time and within budget.
• Advising the engineering team on projects, tasks, and operations.
• Performing complex Boundary and Topographic Surveying and Mapping tasks.
• Leading and directing field survey crews and technicians.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of experience in Land Surveying, Subdivision and Topographic Mapping, and legal descriptions.
• Proficiency in Carlson Survey and GPS Equipment.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree preferred. Tennessee Registered Land Surveyor license required.

Skills:

• Knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM Monday-Thursday and 7:30 AM to 11:30 AM Friday.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and complete tasks efficiently.
• Client service orientation, self-motivation, and teamwork skills.
• Problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent time management skills.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to work in environments with potential hazards like venomous snakes and insects.
• Ability to stand long periods, work in various temperatures, climb hills, walk long distances, and traverse terrains.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs.
