Impact Recruiting Solutions is seeking an RN Health Care Facility Surveyor to join a Quality Improvement Consulting Company. The role involves supporting internal and external customers nationwide in a technically engaging environment.
Requirements of the RN Health Care Facility Surveyor :
- Must have an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
- Must have completed CMS’s Long-Term Care Basic Training and passed the Surveyor Minimum Qualifications Test (SMQT).
- At least two (2) years of recent experience as a surveyor accrediting or certifying long-term care facilities.
- Current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Demonstrated independent decision-making skills to manage the survey process effectively.
- Ability to prioritize tasks independently and collaboratively.
- Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time.

Responsibilities of the RN Health Care Facility Surveyor :
This is a remote position with up to 75% travel. The Surveyor will participate as a team member or leader in various surveys (re-certification, complaint investigation, etc.) across different healthcare facility types nationwide. Responsibilities include:
- Conducting on-site surveys to assess compliance with federal regulations.
- Preparing for surveys, including facility tours, care observations, record reviews, and staff/family interviews.
- Evaluating aspects of healthcare quality, patient rights, and facility physical conditions.
- Communicating deficiencies to facility personnel and during exit conferences.
- Determining acceptability of correction plans and conducting follow-up visits.
- Assisting with training and participating in work groups.
