Recruitment Range: $57,712 to $85,846
The Nursing Home Surveyor (Nurse Consultant I) position involves regulatory activities to determine compliance of nursing homes with federal and state requirements through inspections.
Job Responsibilities Include:
Must pass the Federal Surveyor Minimum Qualifications Test (SMQT) within 2 years of hire.
This is a home-based position servicing Durham County and surrounding regions (Durham, Alamance, Caswell). The Surveyor spends an average of three days per week in nursing homes conducting inspections. Occasional inspections on weekends and nights may be required. While scheduling aims to be regional, overnight stays may be necessary when facilities are more than 60 miles from the home base.

Minimum Education and Experience:
Licensed Registered Nurse in North Carolina with at least one year of experience in the relevant area.
