RN Health Care Facility Surveyor - Tennessee (#1179)

Impact Recruiting Solutions is seeking a RN Health Care Facility Surveyor to support a Quality Improvement Consulting Company. This role involves working in a technically engaging environment supporting internal and external customers nationwide.

The position is 100% remote with up to 75% travel. The Surveyor will conduct various types of surveys (re-certification, comparative, complaint investigation, revisits) for facilities such as long-term care, ambulatory surgical centers, ICFs/IID, ESRD, PRTF, hospitals, critical access hospitals, and hospices across the country.

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting on-site surveys to ensure compliance with federal regulations
• Preparing for surveys through off-site review, facility tours, observations, record reviews, and staff/family interviews
• Assessing aspects from quality of care to patients' rights and facility physical conditions
• Communicating deficiencies and ensuring understanding during exit conferences
• Determining acceptability of correction plans
• Performing follow-up visits to monitor correction implementations
• Participating in training and work groups as needed

Requirements:

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in nursing
• Completion of CMS's Long-Term Care Basic Training and passing the SMQT
• At least two years of recent surveyor experience in long-term care facilities
• Current RN licensure
• Strong decision-making and survey management skills
• Ability to travel up to 75% regularly
