Job summary

CHOICE Healthcare Services is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant to support clinical care by preparing rooms, instruments, and patients, passing instruments, and assisting with procedures in line with the Dental Practice Act. The role includes operating x-ray equipment, prophy, patient education, charting, sterilization, room setup, IOs, and maintaining supplies.

California license and X-ray/BLS certifications preferred; bilingual Spanish a plus; competitive pay and benefits offered in

Qualifications

• Certification from a dental college OR 3+ months related experience preferred.
• Spanish bilingual skills preferred.
• California RDA license and X-ray certification required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists the doctor in procedures.
• Operated x-ray equipment and takes x-rays.
• Prophy teeth.
• Instructs patients on oral hygiene.
• Chart and treatment plan with doctor.
• Sterilizes instruments.
• Setup and prepares rooms for hygiene and treatment.
• Take IO's.
• Charting.
• Sealants, if applicable.

Registered Dental Assistant

Summary The Registered Dental Assistant supports dental care delivery by preparing treatment rooms, patients, instruments, and materials; passing instruments and materials; performing procedures in compliance with the Dental Practice Act.

Pay Range $19.71-$26.44 (Based on experience)

Education and/or Experience
