Job summary

Choice Healthcare Services in Merced, CA is hiring a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA). The RDA supports care delivery by preparing rooms, instruments and materials, passing tools, and assisting the doctor during procedures. Qualifications include California Registered Dental Assistant License, X-Ray Certification, Coronal Polish and BLS; Sealant Certification preferred.

Spanish bilingual is preferred. Certification from a dental college or 3+ months of related experience is acceptable.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assists the doctor in procedures.
• Operates x-ray equipment and takes x-rays.
• Prophy teeth.
• Instructs patients on oral hygiene.
• Chart and treatment plan with doctor.
• Sterilizes instruments.
• Setup and prepares rooms for hygiene and treatment.
• Take IO's.
• Charting.
• Sealants, if applicable.

Overview

Registered Dental Assistant (RDA)

Summary: The Registered Dental Assistant supports dental care delivery by preparing treatment rooms, patients, instruments, and materials; passing instruments and materials; performing procedures in compliance with the Dental Practice Act.

Pay Range: $17.64-$26.44/hour (Based on experience)

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience:

• Certification from a dental college OR 3+ months related experience and/or trainingOR Equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred
