Job summary

CHOICE Healthcare Services in California (Antioch) is hiring a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to support dental care delivery, prepare treatment rooms, and pass instruments under the Dental Practice Act. The position pays hourly and is based on experience.

Responsibilities include assisting the doctor, taking x-rays, charting, sterilizing instruments, and patient instruction. Dental certifications and/or experience are required or preferred; bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Certification from a dental college OR 3+ months related experience and/or training OR Equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred
• Bi-lingual in Spanish, preferred

Responsibilities

• Assists the doctor in procedures
• Operated x-ray equipment and takes x-rays
• Prophy teeth
• Instructs patients on oral hygiene
• Chart and treatment plan with doctor
• Sterilizes instruments
• Setup and prepares rooms for hygiene and treatment
• Take IO's
• Charting
• Sealants, if applicable

Summary: The Registered Dental Assistant supports dental care delivery by preparing treatment rooms, patients, instruments, and materials; passing instruments and materials; performing procedures in compliance with the Dental Practice Act.

Pay Range $23.89-$32.02/hour (Based on experience)
